How best to sell a 141 Micra?

iv been given a family members car that has passed away,,too sell,,do I go back too the Nissan garage I bought it in,or try and sell it myself,,its a Nissan micra,,141,,with less than 10 thousand on the clock

Our answer:

Hi Gavin,

I’d say it could be worth a nip to the dealer first – it sounds like exactly the sort of car that would be a good mover on the forecourt, but dealers will almost always low-ball you on the first offer. Be prepared to haggle. Otherwise, If you’re going to sell it yourself, I’d say put it up at a price of around €11-12,000. As long as it has been serviced properly and is in good nick, you shouldn’t have too much trouble shifting it.
