That is indeed mega-mileage for a car of that age, indicating that the Mondeo has been used as a company car by someone who travels a lot for work; if it’s being sold in Northern Ireland, then it may have even spent a lot of its time in the mainland UK. However, to be fair, €12,000 is about the going rate for a Mondeo of that distance and, as long as what you say about its upkeep and use on motorways is verifiable, then it provides a bargain way to own the fifth-gen Mondeo. It’s not a notoriously unreliable car, so it shouldn’t cause you any issues if it’s a solid example.
