Generally, Land Rover build quality has improved quite a lot in recent years, and the Evoque and Discovery Sport (I assume it’s the Sport rather than the full-sized Discovery that you mean) have been among the better-built Land Rovers of late. Electrical issues are common though, especially for the touch-screen infotainment system, gearbox software, electric tailgates, central locking and more. They tend to be niggling issues, rather than ones that leave you stranded at the roadside, but we certainly wouldn’t buy one that doesn’t have a full and complete service history.
