Has my Insignia's engine a chain?
I have a 2016 Vauxhall insignia Sri with a 1.4 petrol engine, does it have a cam belt or timing chain. If it got a timing chain does it need replacing at any stage?

Hi Ian,
It has a timing chain. It doesn't have a set replacement schedule and, so long as it doesn't get noisy or stretched (usually indicated by lots of engine management system errors), there is no need to plan to change it.
