Golf or MINI automatic?
my daughter is buying her first automatic car can you advise what is best model to go forabout 2009 no older than that she likes mini cooper or golf has to be automatic

Hi Brid,
The Golf DSG (that uses a twin-clutch automatic gearbox) is probably a fraction smoother in operation than the MINI’s true torque-converter six-speed auto, but the MINI’s gearbox will be more reliable and the car is more appealing overall. Tell your daughter to ignore the Golf.
