Expensive to fix a Civic's petrol release?
Is the petrol release system on the honda civic expensive to repair,as on my car it is very hit and miss,and embarrassing when filling up.

It really does depend on what has gone wrong. You seem to suggest that it works sometimes, which makes us think there isn't much wrong with it, perhaps just requiring a little adjustment of the release cable. A decent mechanic wouldn't charge you much for that, but best to bring it along to have it looked at first, of course.
