If that's 1.5 hours each way every day then, unless it's at incredibly low speeds, you'd need a long-range EV to comfortably cover the distance without charging up. But if it's 1.5 hours driving in total in a day then, even at motorway pace, most modern EVs will cope, allowing you charge up on cheap electricity at home every night.

The key thing here is that you get a home charger. If you can, and the EV you choose can cover your daily needs, it'll be far cheaper to fuel than even the most efficient hybrid.
