That seems to be at the budget end of the going rate for a 74,000-mile, eight-year-old, UK-registered Vauxhall Corsa, so I’m guessing you’re looking at a lower-spec model with a smaller engine. The mileage is no problem, as long as the car has been properly maintained. The 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4-litre petrol engines available in the Corsa of that time all used timing chains, not belts, and chains do not get changed generally unless something goes wrong.
