Does this 5008 sound ok?
Hi I am currently looking at purchasing a Peugeot 5008 it is a 2011 model 1.6 hdi sport with 77 thousand miles on the clock the garage I am buying from has said there is a problem when starting the car in neutral it struggles to go into 1st gear but if you start in 1st it's OK, they are changing a part which I think they said a cylinder? Do you think this indicates troubles ahead or maybe a problem with the clutch? Many thanks

It may just be a gear linkage issue. If so, then there's nothing to worry about, though get them to give you a warranty on it and give you a detailed description of the issue. If it's something in the gearbox itself, I'd be much more worried about it and would walk away from that car.
