It depends which engine your car has. The 1.5- and 1.6-litre petrol engines have timing chains, the 1.6, 1.9 and 2.0-litre diesels have a belt that needs to be changed every 120,000km or every three years. There does seem to be a 2.0-litre diesel without a belt, too, so if you have a car powered by that engine it needs to be checked first to see which one it is.
