Does the engine come out to replace a Vitara's belt?
Thanks for your reply re timing chain or belt on my 2016 Suzuki Vitara diesel , I've been told by my garage that the whole engine has to come out to replace the timing belt,???is this true ? will cost over £750 !!!

I'm afraid that's correct, the engine is removed to replace the timing belt in that car. That's quite unusual and it does indeed add to the labour costs.
