Does my Volvo XC60 have a timing belt?

Does my Volvo XC60 have a timing belt?

I have just purchased a 2010 Volvo XC 60 SE Premium R Designd D5 AWD 2400 cc. It has full service history kept by one previous owner and has only clocked up a genuine 45,000 miles. Can anybody advise if this car has a cambelt (which I think should be changed on account of its age) or a chain which I understand would not need to be changed. Grateful for your advice. Thanks

Our answer:

Hi Rory,

It has a timing belt, which should be changed at least every 180,000km or 10 years, whichever comes first.
