Does my Jaguar XF have a belt or chain?
I have a 2016 Jaguar XF, 2. ltr. turbo diesel, Ingenium engine with a 100,500 Klms. on the clock. The car is very well looked after I bought the car when it had 19,000 klms. on the clock. Could you please advise if this car has a timing chain or a belt and at what mileage does the belt / chain need replacing please? Thank You.

That engine has a timing chain. Chains don't generally have a scheduled replacement as they are theoretically designed to last the life of the engine.
