Does my Insignia have a chain?
Hi, I have an Insingia 2l diesel estate SRI 170BHP my local shop tells me it has a timing chain not a belt, is this correct?

Hi Gary,
That's incorrect. The 2.0-litre diesel engine in the Insignia has a timing belt, not a chain. They may have thought it was the 1.6 for some reason, as that does indeed have a timing chain.
