Does my Hyundai have a belt?
We own a 2011 i30 Hyundai wagon. I was of the understanding that it had a timing chain. But my mechanic informed me that it has a belt and it requires changing. Can you advise?

Most engines in that car have timing chains, yes, but the 2.0-litre units (both petrol and diesel) use timing belts instead.
