That car does indeed have a timing belt, but 54,000 miles seems ludicrously low for a belt change, unless there's something Audi has identified as wrong with the A1's belt and it is effectively a recall. Perhaps ask your dealer about that, as our information is that the belt should be changed every 210,000km, regardless of time.
