Does a timing chain have to be changed?
Do you have to have a timing chain changed and if so when and how often Is there anything I need to do to it to keep it healthy as I've only just got the car any help would be welcome

Hi Martyn,
Only a very few engines with timing chains come with set replacement schedules. Most do not. So if there's no issue with the chain in terms of noise or stretch, then you don't need to worry about it.
