In principle, yes, as Ford’s mid-sized SUV has a decent chassis and the 2.0-litre diesel drivetrain is strong and lusty. But some of its interior finishing feels dated now, while the ride quality can be suspect on models with larger alloys and sportier suspension set-ups. In truth, while there’s nothing terribly wrong with the Kuga, there are better SUVs of the same size out there as alternatives.
