Do I pay VAT etc on a classic?
I am a little confused and cant seem to find the correct answer, if I purchase a classic car in another EU country and bring it back to Ireland, then am i liable for both VAT 23% and Customs Duty ie 10% on the purchase price

No VAT or customs/import duty is due on a used car of any sort imported into Ireland from another EU country.
