Do I need to pay off finance before trading?
Hi I currently have a 162 Renault Clio on finance. I have it a year and I feel like I need more space. I’m interested in the Nissan qashqui. What I was wondering was do I have to pay off the rest of the money on my current car or can I swap cars? Like if I traded it in? I genuinely have no idea. Thanks a million. Jade.

Hi Jade,
It really depends on the type of finance you have and the terms and conditions. So you'll need to go back to the contract and go through it in detail - or discuss with the lender. Big dealerships are well clued in when it comes to finance, as well, so no harm in talking it through with them.
