Do I have to pay motor tax arrears?
Hi, do I have to pay tax arrears on a car I sold? I never taxed it after I bought it! I tried 5 times to tax it but then went on May leave and had no valid pay slip etc so wondering if I can get a registration set for the Cecile without having to pay arrears on the tax?

Hi Laura,
I don't think I fully understand your situation, but I can tell you that once a car is sold, motor tax arrears is cleared - i.e. the previous owner is no longer liable for the unpaid tax.
