Do have to change the water pump when you change a timing belt on a 2016 skoda yeti 1.2 tsi
Hi Mark,
It's not a case of 'have to' to be honest, but to access the water pump in most cars with timing belts, the whole cover and belt etc. has to come off anyway so it's good practice to do it at the same time as the belt. There's no extra labour, really, just the cost of the parts.
