Do garages have to NCT cars?
I've viewed two 192 cars recently from here advertised by garages as having a valid NCT until 2025. After viewing I realised neither car had been NCT'd but both garages said they would nct the car if I wanted to purchase. Surely this is illegal or at least false advertising?

That's not an unusual practice as dealers don't want to invest in the NCT until they know someone is taking the car. If they've advertised it as having an NCT then they are beholden to ensure it has one by the time the car goes to the new buyer so it's actually reassuring to know you'll get a car freshly put through the NCT process.
