Do 132 BMWs still have the N47 problem?
Hi, I'm considering buying a 132 BMW 520 MSport. It has 55k Moles on it with a FSH. I know if the problems caused by the N47 engine but was wondering if this was still a problem for 132 models or has the issue been resolved?

Hi Paul,
Theoretically, all of the N47 engine issues were sorted by 2008, but we have heard of individual engines from later production with problems. Just make sure you buy a car with a very full service history, preferably from a main BMW dealer.
