Difference between these E-Class models?

what is the difference between an E220 cdi and the E250 cdi?

Our answer:

Hi Ron,

The E 250 CDI has more power than the E 220 CDI, from the same 2.1-litre turbodiesel four-cylinder engine. We know this is an older Merc E-Class, as you’ve referred to them as CDI models – nowadays, Mercedes just badges its diesels as ‘E 220 d’. We’re guessing you’re looking at W212 (built from 2009-2016), which means the E 220 CDI has 170hp/400Nm and the E 250 CDI has 204hp/500Nm.
