Those are the engine sizes in litres. Most car makers don't bother going beyond one decimal place, so a 1.2 could be anything from a 1,150cc to 1,249cc, but Ford liked to specify 1.25 for one of its engines in the past. It logically sits between the 1.2 and 1.3 in terms of size.
