Diesel or hybrid for me?
I am looking at new cars as I am due to start a job which will entail high mileage (250+km/day), would you recommend diesel or petrol hybrid. I am a bit worried about all the talk of diesel emissions and that the government will start increasing taxes because of this. I live in Athenry so not city based. What do you think?

Hi Eoin,
I think you're probably still OK in a diesel for now, especially with that kind of mileage. Worth having a look at the new Toyota Prius though as that can genuinely get 60mpg on a motorway run.
