Depends what you mean by better. The Qashqai is a more sophisticated vehicle – it has better seats, a more modern cabin, more electronic trickery and more space in the back and boot. It is also quieter, more refined and rides much more smoothly. That said, the two cars share a common diesel engine, and the Duster is the guts of €10k cheaper, model for model, a fact that may well outweigh any other considerations.
