Cost to change to new Golf?
I'm now driving a 2008 V golf. I would like to upgrade to a 2018 VW Golf. Could you tell me how much my car would knock off the price of a new one?

The 2008MY Volkswagen Golf is worth anything between €3,500 and €8,000, depending on its spec, engine, mileage and condition. That’s market values, mind – on a trade-in, you have to knock some money off. Expect your dealer to give you anything between €2,000 and €6,000 for the car, when you enquire about the 2018 version.
