It depends on your needs. The diesel model will be more economical over long journeys, reducing your costs and how often you have to stop at a filling station. It also has the best performance in real-world driving with lots of low-down torque and smoothness. The petrol model is better for urban driving and short journeys, but it's also a little lighter, so it should be a little more agile.
