Code 89 on my Mokka?
I have a 2014 1.6l petrol vauxhall Mokka. I get a code 89 on startup, it stays on unless I switch it off with the indicator controls. It will come back on when the vehicle is switched off and back on. Does anyone know what this could be? It started when I had the bonnet open sensor switched off due to it being faulty could this be the cause?

Hi Paul,
We've had lots of people contact us with that one and the only thing we can find in the list of diagnostic trouble codes for it that's similar is a 'P0089' code, indicating an issue with a fuel pressure regulator. It might be worth bringing the car into an Opel dealer as they're likely to know exactly what it is. And they can plug the car into a proper diagnostic computer to see what's up.
