We don't know about any widespread issues with the i40's clutch. Indeed, it's known to be a very reliable car. Obviously, depending on how any car is driven, it may wear out its clutch quicker than is normal. This is usually indicated by a 'slipping' of the clutch where the revs don't match forward progress.
