Clarifying motor tax arrears...
Your answer re a query on who is liable for road tax arrears seems contradictory. On one hand you say the registered owner is liable, regardless, but then go on to say "on the upside, you're not liable for any arrears. ??? What's the reality? Thanks. Ken

The registered owner of a vehicle is liable for the motor tax for the entire period that they are the registered owner only. I hope that clears up your confusion.
