Chain or belt in my Hyundai i30?
Hi, I have a hyhundai i30 2015 plate, its on 97000miles at the min. I don't know if its chain or belt Secondly is it right that timing chains are better then belts.

All engines available in the 2015 i30 use timing chains.
It's not really possible to say that chains are better than belts or vice versa. Each come with their own advantages and disadvantages and then it comes down to the design of the system and the rest of the engine.
