Can you tell me about the Forester's transmission?
I'm seriously considering buying a 2015 Subaru Forester. It's a 2.0-litre CVT petrol. I'm wondering if I am in traffic with the transmission in drive will it creep when I take my foot off the brakes or do I have to feather the throttle to creep along?
Any information would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi John,
As it happens, I tested the latest Forester last week, albeit in diesel guise. It was fitted with the CVT gearbox and I can confirm that it creeps along if you take your foot off the brake. I'm assuming the petrol model will have the same strategy, but go test drive one for yourself to make sure.
