Can you recommended a family car for a family of three kids?
Can you recommended a family car for a family of three kids under five? I currently have a Nissan Qashqai, looking for a similar style of car, with enough space to take the three kids' seats in the back comfortably and with a bit of a bigger boot, 2010 or 2011 models.

Hi Simon,
If you like the Qashqai, you could consider upgrading to the Qashqai +2, which has a pair of occasional extra seats in the boot, and crucially that boot is bigger to begin with. In fact, according to Nissan, most people bought Qashqai +2s for the bigger boot, rather than the fact that it was a seven seater.
Other than that, to find a car with enough room across the back seats for three kids, you’re either going to have to go down the MPV route (Toyota Verso, Citroen C4 Picasso and Ford Grand C-Max are the pick of that bunch) or you could consider buying a conventional estate car (Mondeo, perhaps, or a Hyundai i40 Tourer, or a Mazda6 Tourer) and getting a converter for the back seat, that allows you carry up to four child safety seats.
