Can I use my Indian licence now?
Hi, I was a student here back in 2019 and working in Ireland now. I can afford to buy a car as it is convenient for travelling but wanted to know if i can use my Indian license for the next 12 months until I get the Irish license? I am about to give my theory test so i guess it wont be longer than a year to get irish driving license.

The rules state that you can use your Indian licence for a period of 12 months from the date of arrival in Ireland. That time starts immediately, I'm afraid, and can't be 'postponed' as such.
