Can I tow a horse with the 3008?
Can I SAFELY and comfortably tow a horse and trailer ( combined weight about 1500kg) with the new Peugeot 3008 1.6 bluehdi model. Official towing capacity is 1500kg but I live in Wicklow, i.e. lots of hills. Thank you

Hi Birgit,
Yes, you can and you’ll be well under the 3,500kg combined weight limit, which is helpful. That 1.6 HDi engine has 300Nm of torque so should do fine at pulling the horses and box, but you could consider upgrading to the more powerful 2.0-litre 150hp model, which is more expensive to buy, but not an awful lot more expensive to run.
