You can, but it won’t be easy. In spite of the old connections between MG Rover and Honda (the two companies very nearly merged before the BMW takeover of 1995), the Rover K-Series 1.4 and Honda’s 1.4 are entirely mechanically unrelated, so you’re going to need major surgery to build up new engine mounts and to account for the different location of parts etc. It can be done, but you’ll need a very good mechanic on your side (or be one yourself) and a lot of time and money to do it.
