Can I sell a UK car here?
Hello. My daughter bought a car in UK last October and its been sat in garden since, my husband was to VRT it for her but unfortunately we split up and paperwork got mislaid untill now, my daughter now decided that she doesn't want to drive and she wants to sell car. Can it be sold here in Ireland with English plates.. I'd appreciate your advise.. Thank you.

That's a tricky one. Technically speaking, the car should have been presented for inspection and payment of VRT within 30 days of importation. Revenue states that it may charge more VRT if that dateline is not met so best to contact your local NCTS centre to talk to them about it.
