Can I sell a car that is off the road?
Can you sell a car that has not been registered off road for 5 years , though in good working order.

Hi Shelagh,
There's nothing stopping you from selling the car regardless of its state or tax status. The buyer would be responsible for it once they take ownership, in terms of tax, insurance and NCT, and all unpaid tax is wiped clean as far as Revenue is concerned.
