I just bought a car with no nct the dealership said it would not need much to pass,I just found out the car has failed the nct 6 times consecutively..is there anything I can do to return this vehicle..any help is really appreciated
Hi there,
You have rights as a consumer for sure, though you'd probably be advised legally to give the dealership an opportunity to get the car through its NCT for you. Unless you have proof of the conversation then it'll be tricky to get much else off them, possibly even that. If you're getting nowhere I strongly suggest you get in touch with the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CPCC) for advice.

Ask us anything motoring related and please provide as much information as possible so we can give you the most accurate advice.
