It will depend on the year. More recent C4 Picassos come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which can deal with texts as well as music, navigation etc, but it’s not always possible to install such systems into an older car. I think your best bet may be to go for an aftermarket installation by such as Pioneer, which will give you the smartphone integration with, hopefully, a lower price than a main-dealer refit.
