Quite a lot of modern Toyotas have ‘follow me home’ headlights, which will stay on for a pre-determined period of time after the ignition has been switched off. This is a safety feature so you can easily get to your doorway at night (provided your driveway points at your front door, of course!) and you can normally adjust the length of time the lights stay on for – from brief periods like 15 seconds up to around two minutes.
