It will be a bit of a squeeze, but unfortunately that’s true for pretty much any car that isn’t an MPV these days. My suggestion would be to go and do some shopping around for the narrowest (but still safest, obviously) car seats you can find. It will get easier in a year or two as your eldest will be able to upgrade to a booster cushion (depending on their height and weight) and that will save a lot of space. Try before you buy is the best plan – bring the car to check and see if the seats you’re looking at will fit.
