Can I buy my friend's car?
Hi, I have a friend who is selling his car and I intend to buy it, but I only possess an Indian driving license and an International Driving Permit which is valid for 12 months of driving in Ireland. Can I still buy this car on my IDP or should I wait to get a full Irish license?

There's nothing stopping you buying a car, regardless of your licence situation. Before you do, however, it might be worth checking out the insurance ramifications in terms of costs.
