Can I buy and insure a car as a learner?
Hi there, I'm thinking about buying a car, but I don't have the full Irish license yet. I do have a Brazilian license and the Irish learners permit. Can I buy and insure a car in this condition? Thanks, Daniela

Anyone can buy a car, so you don't need to worry about that side of things. And yes, you can get insured on a learner's permit, though of course it won't be cheap. Might be worth ringing around insurance companies and brokers to get a feel for it before committing to buying the car.
