Can I buy a car without Irish licence?
Hello, I'm wondering if I could buy a car without and Irish Driver's licence. I have an American one. I would like to buy a car right away. Could I buy one and get insured on the American licence and apply for the Irish licence at a later date? Any information would be gratefully accepted, thanks!

Buying the car won't be a problem, as you don't need to produce any licence to do so. You can drive in Ireland with an American licence for one year before you must apply for an Irish licence.
