Can I bring my Audi back from the UK?
I have a new 18 plate Audi and I'm from Ireland originally. I'd like to bring it back to Ireland to sell it. Can I bring it back and sell it on UK plates? Or do I need to bring it back and re-register and pay the VRT on import?

Hi Patrick,
I'm afraid you must re-register the car before selling it in the UK. Saying that, if you've had the car for more than six months, and you can prove it, you may be entitled to a VRT exemption, so the costs won't be high in getting it changed over.
