Can a Canadian buy a car in Ireland?
I'm Canadian and looking to purchase a car for my daughter who is attending university in Limerick. Are there any restrictions for a Canadian to purchase a vehicle in Ireland, and if there are you able to assist in overcoming them?

There are no restrictions to who buys a car at all. You will need to put the car into the name and address of someone living in Ireland though.
